Stunning Body Off Full Restoration of a 1959 MGA Coupe. Only 200 miles on car since restoration. This is a rust free Texas car! With body off this restoration includes sand blasting and coatings for long term corrosion free chassis and body parts. The following work was replaced professionally to the engine and cylinder head: New piston set, new main bearing set, new thrust washer set, new rod bearing set, new cam sprocket, new timing chain, new crank sprocket, new tenioner assembly, new oil pump, new strainer, new ring set, new ring gear, new oil seal, new tappet, new push rod bearing set, spin-on oil filter adaptor kit, new intake valves, new intake guide stock, new spring set, new water pump, new radiator hose set, new gasket set. Carburetors were rebuilt. The following new pieces were also installed: Cable starter and choke cable, pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, master cylinder, wheel cylinder set, slave cylinder cylinder, heater core, shaft to laygear, synchro ring 2nd gear, snychro ring 3rd and 4th gear, fuel sending unit, fuel pipes. The electrical system was removed and reinstalled without problems. The flasher unit was replaced, starter switch, and the starter and generator repaired. The following accessories were replaced new: Luggage rack, rear bumper, front bumper, overrider, license plate shell and grille assembly, hood buffer set, headlamps, tripod headlamps, front lamps, tail lamps, license plate lamps, horn, oil/water gauge, washer container, bracket container, pump, windshield seal, brooklands steering wheel, carpet set, seats. All Moss Motors accessories were used in the restoration. The wiper motor works but appears to need an adjustment to allow wipers to fully wipe. There is a small dent that has been touched up to the body just behind the front bumper.
