Hello fellow Hot Rodders and classic Ford enthusiasts . Up for auction is a very clean all steel Henry Ford pick up. If high tech Street Rodding, painted bumpers, and billet aluminum is your fancy you might want to look elsewhere as this Pick Up isn't for you. Those that enjoy the publications of Rodders Journal, Rod & Custom, and Hop Up will appreciate the classic traditional details of this 40 Ford in front of you. This is a 1941 Ford pick up that has the "Empire state building" art deco hood ornament that is unique to this year only . Truck is a recent build with only 500 miles on the entire truck. Professionally painted a beautiful high end Urethane black - it is deep and rich. Truck is rust free top to bottom and detailed underneath as much as it is on the exterior. This is a west coast truck that was pretty solid and rust free to begin with prior to its build/restoration . The engine is a 350 that has been "warmed over" with a mild Clay Smith cam, HEI ignition, Edelbrack 4 barrel aluminum intake and other chrome accessories . The transmission is a Turbo 350 three speed automatic. The rear end is a 10 Chevy with 3.23 gears - great for street as well as highway. The front end is a Camaro sub frame that was professionally applied with power disc brakes for ultimate stopping power. The interior is simply gorgeous in every way. All dash and trim were painted burgundy urethane and the upholstery was professionally done in a rich ox blood/Burgundy with antique white pleats for that true period 40's/early 50's Hot Rod & Custom look. The tires are 8.20x15 wide white walls on the rear, and 5.60x15 white walls in the front. Everything is mounted on solid steel wheels. The entire grille is a brand new Bob Drake unit that fit perfectly to the original front fenders. Again, every body panel and every piece on this vehicle is Henry Ford steel. The truck is straight and has absolutely no dings or scratches anywhere. Why bother looking elsewhere when you can have the real deal pictured in front of you. There are many early pick ups on the market today but very few have the class,detail, and pure early style that was put in to it like this has. Close to $40,000 was spent having this built but we will let it go at a fraction of that amount. All sales are final. There are no guarantee's/warranties .
