Up for auction is this 1966 English Ford Cortina GT 2-door Mark I body shell and all parts to make complete other than the engine and transmission. It had been set up for a rotary engine and five-speed and mounts had been added for this purpose. I purchased the car recently to put my engine in, but now find out that it won't fit. It is a really clean rust free body and hard to find in this condition. It was originally a Texas car and has been undercoated with the green airplane coating that you see on the inside of airplane wings and fuselages. The car has about three small hail dents on it but is not pock marked. All the lights, trim, and heater parts are in boxes. The grille and seats are also included. Check out the photos as they will speak for themselves as to the condition. The car is located in Arvada, Colorado (near Littleton, Colorado). Please let me know if you have questions. On Oct-30-10 at 12:12:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I answered the last question received with two responses but only the first response printed.I should have noted that all the glass is in good condition and the windows roll up and down and the wing windows work. The bumpers are included, are in good shape, good chrome but not perfect (the bumpers have always been stored inside). The front bumper brackets are missing. The wiring to the rear of the car is in place. The front wiring is in a box. What is missing that I know of is the gas tank filler neck, headlight surrounds, brake master cylinder, one piece of chrome for the right door (previous owner has and will ship separately), and the driveshaft (previous owner has and can ship separately). There are a number of duplicate items including taillights. All else is included.
