This is a 1977 volkswagon rabbit diesel . This car has been parked for a good long time and is in amazing condition and is a rust free Nevada car also a one family car since new. It has only 66,452 original mile on the car and all of them are travel miles from Reno to the Bay Area For its entire drive life. The owner was a jet pilot for PanAm airlines and quit driving the car due to the snow over the pass and the lack of weight in the car and then just took jump flights having parked the car for the rest of its day Until now. I believed it to get at or over 50 miles to the gallon and is great to drive. But now for the bad the car will need 4 new tires and an injection pump but does still turn over and fire with help. The pump can be found here on Ebay for about two hundred dollars and the rest is in great condition and this car doesnt need glass or interior nor does it need much for a true resto and having a sunroof is a major bonus . And with just some paint and cleaning it would be a great looking fuel saver and very eco friendly . Also the stereo and speakers are missing but thats about it .
