You are bidding on a 1968 AMC Javelin SST. I have owned this javelin for 32 years. It was my first car and I always intended to restore it but never got around to it. It's been sitting outside and hasn't been running for 20 years or so. I replaced the original 290 motor with a 343 AMC motor when I was still driving it. When I parked the car over 20 years ago it still ran but I think it had a cracked flywheel. It has an automatic transmission. You can see from the pictures that there is some surface rust on the roof and some rust on the quarter panels. I will also include with the car two rear quarter panels with no rust. The interior is complete but seats need recovered and needs new carpet. Also the floorboards are pretty badly rusted. The car will have to be trailered. All tires are flat or dry rotted. I have an original clean title. I do not have the keys for the car. The car windows are off track but they are there and unbroken. The body is pretty straight but it does have a crease in the front drivers door that is hard to see in the pictures. The car will have to be picked up by November 7 - no exceptions because the property where it is being stored has been sold.
