1983 Honda Ascot VT 500 for sale. Only imported to the US for two years. I got this one thinking that I was going to do a lot with it nut just have not had the time. I did change oil and filter when I got it this spring, rebuilt front brake caliper, refilled rear end with gear lube. I also put new oil in the forks. It has a fairly new rear tire on it but it is a bias ply tire that I was going to replace, the front is worn and cupped just a little so if you are like me that will need replaced. It has a kerker slip on exhaust on it. The bike runs very good, we cleaned and synced the carbs when I got it. The inside of the gas tank is in very good condition = no rust! That is a known problem with theses bikes. The tach is inop maybe just cable or? Never looked into it yet. Also the light for the tach is out so it is dark at night. Also the bulb for the OD dummy light is out. The title says odometer is not accurate. The previous owner told me it was replaced with one with in a couple of hundred mile of the original. It is in pretty good shape for its age but it has the normal little bump and bruises. Nothing that stands out as a eye sore. Let me know if you have any questions at all.
