I am selling my 2008 Suzuki GSX-R600 Black, I have had one issue with the bike that just surfaced recently. It came when I took the OEM exhaust off because the exhaust was scratched from when I layed the bike down. The exhaust had a pretty good rash so I replaced it with another OEM stock exhaust. Since replacing the slip-on the FI light comes on, on occasion. I was unaware of what this light meant so I did some research. Apparently there are multiple sensors and safeties built into the bike. If any of these are tripped, the FI alarm goes off on the bike and FI comes up on the display console. When light comes on it is a sign to have your bike ran through a diagnostic by a dealer. If you are even slightly a gear-head you can put your bike into dealer mode yourself and your service manual can tell you what the alarm pertains to. I found all this out on Gixxer Planet @ http://www.gixxerplanet.com/home/showthread.php?t=2941&highlight=dealer+mode . After going through dealer mode the bike shows C-00 which is a false alarm. I have asked around and found that there is a butterfly set valve on your exhaust that is locked into a preset position with your stock exhaust. If you replace the stock exhaust you have to reset that position for the alarm not to show. There is no negative effects to the bike without that valve set and in fact many people remove that set valve off their bikes when they install aftermarket exhaust. If the buyer wishes I can put the bike in dealer mode when you come to see it so you can see for yourself it's tripping a false alarm. The bike is in great shape except the scratch shown on rear right side fairing where I layed the bike down as well as the yellow front fairing(which is Suzuki OEM). The bike has been wrecked, but it is perfect working condition and I have a clean title IN HAND. The bike is currently located in Forest, Virginia. I have reduced the price in order to sale the bike fast, it won't last long. The bike only has around 1100 miles on it(changes everyday) in nearly 2 years. I took it off the street last September and it has been in my basement ever since. I only take it up the road on occasion to a neighbors close by. I decided to sell it now instead of keeping it over the winter and re-tagging it next year.
