Drove this car for two laps at Watkins Glen and up and down Deal’s Gap (Tail of the Dragon) and it is an inspired dragon machine Awards: In 2008 I drove this car from Washington, DC to Chicago, down to Indiana, across Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming up to Jackson Hole, to Idaho down to Las Vegas, west to Los Angeles and finally, into Santa Barbara for the 2008 Bimmerfest & at Bimmerfest it took home the “Farthest Distance Travelled” Award – See Trophy Photo Then drove it from L.A. to New Mexico, Arizona, all of Texas, to New Orleans, down to Cedar Key, Florida before heading North and home to Washington, DC Nearly 10K miles in 17 days, three (3) oil changes – no oil burns, and only three nights resting while in hotels. At the Virginia 27th Annual Deutsche Marque Concours d’Elegance in 2010, it “Won People’s Choice Award” – See photo of Award I currently own and use a 1987 323is; had owned others or were in the family (’84 528e, ’87 325is, ’72 2002tii).
