1967 Ford F250 Camper Special in very good condition with only 73,711 original miles. Engine is a 352 V8 with a floor mount 4-speed tranmission. We purchased this truck last year from a local resident. Our intention was to use this wonderful truck to pull our vintage travel trailer to visit national parks throughout the U.S. Plans have changed and we are no longer able to travel. The original owner was an elderly gentleman from Montana. He had a camper on the back of the truck which later had been removed. The body is in very good condition, no dents, scratches or rust. It had been newly painted prior to us buying it. The work was done at the local Ford dealer, it is cream on top and apple red on the bottom. Front and rear bumpers are chrome. The truck has dual gas tanks for long range trips. The bed of the truck is also in great shape with no dents. We purchased a bedliner for protection. The engine runs smooth and powerfull, we pulled our 28' travel trailer with no problem. The windshield has a couple small stone chips, but no cracks. Tires are almost new. The interior is also in very good condition, please note it has not been re-painted. The bench seat looks great except for some signs of wear on the driver's side panel, which can easily be repaired. The AM radio works well and has a vintage Motorola FM converter to receive FM stations. We installed a new trailer brake and tow hitch for towing. Lights, horn, wipers, radio, heater and flashers all work properly. I do not know of any existing problems with the truck and you are welcome to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle during the auction. Call 845-527-4943 for more information and photos.
