Your bidding on a custom 1949 shoebox ford. This car is a custom convertible, with custom interior that will tur heads. The car is sitting on a s-10 sub frame with air ride on the front and rear. The rear end of the car is a four bar setup with the bags on top of the rearend housing. The compressor is located in the trunk. Brand new polly 15 gallon tank from www.tankinc.com. The motor is a Fresh 350 with less than 500 miles on it. Powering this motor is a edelbrock 6x2 intake with a very nice set of strombergs with chrome frog mouths to top them off. All of the intake and carb work was done by dick from www.dickshotrodplace.com there was no shortcuts taken on this setup. It has a progressive linkage made by elco as well. The tranny is a fresh rebuild and has the same milage as the motor, no problems with it as well. As far as the rearend of the car, its a s-10 rearend that has been professionally gone threw and rebuild. A set of highway gears were installed so that a nice cruisin speed could be accomplished on the highway. You can run 75mph and maintain around 2400 rpm. The gear is a 3:55. The tires are new from www.cokertire.com and are bias-plys with the thick white wall. The skirts on the car are fiberglass and have never had a problem with them coming off. We shaved the door handles and all the trim off the car so everything is smooth on the car. It is a good running car and starts everytime.
