1975 Honda CB

Nice old Honda CB750K5, unrestored, very original with the exception of having been "americanized" when new, (chrome plated rear hub, swingarm, with a "cut down" saddle and higher bars with foam grips and a "hog" rear wheel). The bike is a runner, engine sounds strong and quiet with no leaks. Side covers are crack-free, the tank has a ding, and she's a bit rusty especially the bars and spokes, needs a good detail. Missing a sidecover emblem and bolts for the chain guard. 5 speed trans, air cooled sohc 750 engine, these were THE superbike in their day, featuring electric start, a front disc brake, and speeds approaching 120 mph. These Honda's are becoming quite collectible and although unrestored examples such as this are becoming quite rare, parts are plentiful. This bike is in its original "flake apricot red" paint, and is showing 9615 miles which I cant confirm as the tach has a slightly different color which leads me to believe either the speedo or tach were replaced at some time. This bike would benefit from a carb clean, tires, and needs a battery. Free and clear title, and selling as is with no reserve!
