Up for sale is a 1964 Honda 305 Dream Motorcycle in original, un-restored condition. As far as I can tell it is all complete except for a missing part on the front fender ( either a badge or reflector...I can't remember what goes there). The front tire appears to be original and without evident dry-rot, the tread is still good. The back tire appears to have been replaced as it is a Sears tire. It has no dry-rot and excellent tread. The bike is in operating condition, it starts, runs, and shifts through all gears ok. Front and rear brakes operate. The electric start does not always function, it seams as though the starter drive disengages from time to time. The kick starter does work. The seat is in good shape and appears to have had a small tear measuring 1 inch that has been repaired. There are some dents and scratches in the paint but nothing major. The paint is burnt sienna orange and faded. It does look as though someone had attempted to paint the bottom of the back fender where the color does not quite match. The chrome throughout has some pitting, but appears as though much of it would clean up nicely. All rubber shows typical signs of aging.The prior owner had this bike indoors as a display since 2003, obviously the original owner kept it protected also. I am the third owner and just acquired it. I would enjoy keeping this bike, but do not have the time or space for it. A nice complete motorcycle for you to buy! Please buy quickly or I might change my mind and begin to tinker with it!!
