1972 442 Convertible Survivor!!! Here is a garage find in PA last registered in 1988. Always a PA car. They don't get much better than this.I have a Broadcast sheet, Protecto Plate and manuals from factory.Car is at least 75% original paint with what I see as touch ups in bottom of drivers lower fender, rear passenger quarter above striping and trunk lid outside only.Car has all original striping from factory with exception of trunk. Rear quarters ends are still original. All original panels and all else is all original. Solid body, frame , floors and trunk. Unbelievable!! All unmolested and correct. Options are: Posi traction, power top, power steering, power Disc Brakes, Sport wheel, Sport outside mirrors, light group, Hood Lock, Bumper guards, buckets/floor console, door edge guards, all chrome SS1 rims and 442 apperance package. Has 68,000 original miles showing in '93 on PA title which is clear and free. Everything works on car with radio as only exception which is a aftermarket cassette with speakers in well liner area as they should be from original. All chrome is nice along with nice 442 grills etc. Car still has Bias Belted tires also. Motor is quiet with no funny noises, no smoking or leaks. Drives GREAT with ease. Can show this car for is originality. Not perfect but what a conversation piece. Has its original 350 4bl and dual exhaust. Still has 2 of the 4 original T3 headlights. So what are you waiting for. To be honest, as stated pass rear quarter at one time must of had a scrape above striping and it has a light coat of fillar which has now shrunk but with alittle sanding and repaint would make it fine. I left it alone because It didn't bother me. I like the oldness of what was done to the car. Some people would just repaint the car but I choose to leave well enough alone. Car has its scratches and minor dings but the car is 38 years old. If car was perfect, I'd be asking alot more. Hope this helps.
