Total body on frame restoration of a 1969 original 427 400hp Corvette Convertible.Original Daytona Yellow with black top and interior.Never hit body,fits like it should.All seams perfect.Car has had nothing overlooked and was completely taken apart and everything was restored or replaced.All new front and rear suspension,brakes,total engine,trans,clutch, and rear rebuild. Car is turnkey and starts immediately and runs smoothly. Body was stripped , painted, sanded and buffed this year and is beautiful. All weatherstrip,door /window details,emblems,chrome are new or as new.Everything works,all gauges were removed and restored,,wipers, headlights etc are fully operational. Frame is in excellent condition and has had no damage, has no undercoating and is nicely detailed. Options include the 427/400hp engine, transistor ignition, M21 close ratio 4-speed transmission, 3.70 positraction, tilt/telescopic column, and added factory side exhaust. This is a real 400 hp car and has the original 400 supporting items /fuel line,rear,radiator etc, including all smog pump and transistor ignition parts. This is an early production car and appears to have left the assembly line with a '68 321 block which is correctly VIN encoded.The transmission and rear are original to the car. Seats and door panels are original, in excellent condition.Carpeting has been replaced. I have a photocopy of a tank sticker that i got with the car that appears to be this car.The factory sidepipes were added to the car at a later date. Here is a straight, never wrecked, absolutely real 400 tripower,not a small block claiming to be big block.It has had a slow and careful restoration over a number of years with countless hours and dollars invested.
