This Dodge Grand Caravan is in very good mechanical condition insofar as it is solid transportation to get one from point A to point B: The engine and transmission are working fine. There are some cosmetic and peripherial issues that need attention: The air conditioner does not cool, the right power window does not work very well, the door trim on the right front door is loose, there is a dent about the size of a basketball in the front left quarter panel with a small piece of rust about the size of a french fry, the headliner felt is drooping a bit, the front brakes shimmy some when pressed, the rubber on the doors doesn't always stay put, requiring an occaisional push back (could be glued), the paint is fairly good, but there are the normal scratches and dents in the sides and around the van that go with its age. The van would make a very good work vehicle or a good restoration project for anyone who is so inclined. Once again, it is solid transportation, but please understand that it is neither perfect cosmetically, nor with regards to the other issues that we mentioned.
