I bought this car about a year ago on e-bay from a guy in St. Louis who builds new Limos. "Drive it home drive it across country" he stated...I made it 8 miles! Had a worn out 390 stuffed into it with solid tranny mount, no kickdown, electric fan wired straight to battery with excess wire that wrapped around pully and shorted out, altenator wired straight to battery with NO regulator,no gauges or speedometer. NO exhaust connected to engine and after installing exhaust noticed bad blowby and a low end rattle above 2500rpm. Brakes had adjusters in backwards on one front wheel, had brake fluid leak at mstrcyl. If anyone has occasion to buy from this person...BUYER BEWARE. So after completely re-doing the entire running gear it is now 100%. ITEMS NEW: Complete front suspension, dual exhaust w/glasspacks, all new instruments, radiator and heater core, battery, brakes, tires, B&M ratchet shifter and most under hood wiring. Seat covers and carpet. ITEMS REBUILT: Late model 302 with chrome and polished alum goodies. Mustang headers, Mustang C6 tranny built for 500HP, heater controller and most under dash wiring with new speedometer(have old one to verify mileage). Body in above avg condition. A ding in RF fender, very minor rust issues, floor pans were replaced. All windows go up/down as they should. Some cracks in glass but are all laminated so no safety issues. Door panels are in excellent condition, as is interior painted trim. Car is satin black primer. I have the original title signed by the owner. Last inspection sticker was 1970 Texas. THIS CAR IS TRULY A START IT AND DRIVE IT ANYWHERE CAR! A little paint prep and paint is all that is needed. I am 69 with health issues that require me selling this car before finishing it. My reserve is much less than invested.
