This is a 1985 Volvo 240 Wagon with only 143K original miles. If you like these older Vintage wagons, this is one that you will LOVE! This wagon has been very well cared for by original owner. Always garage kept, the paint still has beautiful gloss, and the tan interior has almost no wear, for the exception of one small tear on the rear top panel seat, and one small tear on the drivers seat lower corner. They are minor enough that they are difficult to even spot. Even the original License plates are still in great condition. You can pretty much eat off this entire car. We recently had our well known and trusted Volvo mechanic go through the entire car, just to be sure everything was up to par for the lucky new owner. We had the alternator replaced, as it was starting to go. All four tires replaced, as well as the rear brakes. The front brakes are still pretty much like new. The timing belt was replaced at 123K miles. All of the fluids are clean and filled to the proper levels, as this car does not drip a drop. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and on time, and the overdrive also works great. The engine starts right up everytime, and holds a strong idle and shows no signs of wear. All you need to do is drive and enjoy "her". This particular model is not equipped with air conditioning, however the fan has hot and cold temperature settings, and they both work very well. If you absolutely must have ICE COLD AIR, there are conversions you can have done. Personally, I think the fan is more than enough to keep you cool. This Volvo wagon is very roomy, and you also have the roof rack which provides wonderful extra storage if needed. It's also equipped with child safety locks if you are traveling with the little ones. If you like to do roadtrips, this wagon is just a Joy to do them in. As you can see by the Autocheck report, all of the history is clean on the car. Don't be fooled by the accident on the history check, that is a report due to theft of the stereo system. This body is 100% straight. No accidents. You will feel safe in this Volvo Wagon.
