Vehicle Detail
1992 C4 Corvette/Greenwood Conversion. You have probably heard many stories of people buying cars to help someone else out and yes that is what you have here. This car was owned by a deadbeat that owed my father alot of rent money on a commercial property so I took car in trade to help my father out. I will not lie-this car was in the typical I don't care about my car shape when I got it. I have spent the last 2 years bringing this corvette back to life and now is ready for someone to appreciate all of my hard work. I started by replacing all of the weather stripping and replacing front air dam. This spring/summer I removed the complete ground effects, front nose, rear spoiler and had all stone chips smoothed and every piece of it repainted. After reinstalling these pieces I had body shop retouch almost the entire car and now it looks and shines like new. I replaced the seat covers with new ones including all new foam and now the car is mint inside and out. I replaced the front rotors and pads last year and also installed new rear pads all of which may have 100 miles on them. This car was ordered with every option except the ZR1 motor. It is a 6 speed and does have the adjustable suspension and the ZR1 chrome wheels. Tires are in great shape and have at least 80% left on them. I changed the fluids and did minor tune up last year including a new battery. Car starts runs and drives great. I installed muffler elimination pipes so that you can tell your driving a corvette(have original mufflers that can be reinstalled). The car has plenty of get up and go to keep you pinned in your seat! The only thing that I havent replaced is the acrylic top-if you know anything about the C4 corvettes then you know that these are not glass but acrylic and because of the body flex they tend to spiderweb-keep in mind that this is strictly cosmetic as top does not leak at all. I have spent more money than I will get out of this car so I have decided to leave this to the new owner. The top can be replaced for $500 through AstroTops in TN. I encourage you to ask questions if you have them I will be glad to answer all of them.
