Now that you have seen the "clunkers" in this classification, Have a look at this one. A really super nice looking and driving Studebaker Lark. Any rust issues were repaired/replaced when it was repainted a few years ago. Trust me when I say the reserve is lower than my investment. I am 69 and have health problems that require me to sell it. It is a straight 6 with 3 speed on the column(sorry no overdrive). My mechanic has inspected the running gear, replaced hoses, belt, all engine seals, tuned it up, rebuilt the carb, adjusted valves(has solid lifters), replaced the clutch. There is NO sludge in the engine which indicates the mileage is probably correct. No sign of any major engine work. Compression is good, new brake cyls, shoes, and brake lines. New 2" exhaust(vs the 1 and 7/8 inch) from engine back to flowmaster type muffler, splitting into duals to the bumper. Front end is tight, new battery, tires all around. Under hood completely detailed to factory specs. Interior in above avg condition. The dash could use some restoration, seats and door panels nice, original rubber floor covering nice, trunk has new mat with NO rust and has NOT been repainted. Newly restored jack. Paint is so red the Ford and Chevy owners with red cars won't let me park next to them cause mine makes theirs look orange. All exterior trim and chrome almost perfect.
