1979 Chevy K5 Blazer. Off Frame Restoration. Frame Sandblasted and Epoxied by local Metal Coating Company. New Top to Bottom. Everything from the Axels Up have been gone through Rebuilt or Replaced NEW. Over $25,000.00 invested. Receipts all kept for Record. This Restoration was a Hobby of mine over the last 5 Years. The Only Original Equipment as far as the Engine goes is the Block. Built to Spec 435 HP Eledebrock Air Gap Performer Series by Local NHRA Mechanic. I have the original A/C Compressor and Equipment. Not currently on Truck. I have only Driven this Blazer in the Summer Months with Top Removed. In addition the Original Compressor is not compatable with the GM LS1 Serpentine Drive Assymble Kit installed. Transmission 350 Turbo with Shift Kit Rebuilt Original. Front Axel is the Danna 44 with 4.11 Gear Ration with Front Locking Hubs. Rear Axel is the 8 7/8 Ring Gear 12 Bolt Chevy wih 4.11 Gears as well. The Transfer Case is the Famous NP 203 with the Part Time Kit Installed completely rebuilt. I have a Spare stock NP203 without the Part Time Kit installed if interested. Stainless Steel Drive Shaft. Body is all new GM Stamped Metal. Professionally Painted. This truely is as Close as they get to being New. Removable Hard Top was sanded Down and Recoated, Painted and Clearcoated for a Smooth FInish that Matches the Rest of the Truck and Finish. Never liked the Rough unfinished look of the Original Tops. The only 2 Things that have not been Touched on this truck is the Glass/Windows and the Radio. I have not put a Stereo in this Truck yet. I have the HighLiner Head Liner installed that takes 4 Six inch Speaker's which I have new and the Kick Plate Speakers as well. Just have not gotten around to puting in a Stereo. The Blazer Sits on a 3 inch Body Lift on 32.5 by 12.5 Mud Rovers. The Body before Restoration had 68,906 miles on it. Have put roughly 3,500 miles on truck since completion.
