Vehicle Detail
Please see the following for a few quick videos: http://s783.photobucket.com/albums/yy112/badboo65/67%20Cuda/ 67 CUDA WITH 225 ENGINE, AUTOMATIC ON THE FLOOR. SHE ONLY HAS 41,498 MILES. I HAVE HAD HER FOR APPROXIMATELY 14 YEARS. SHE HAS NEVER FAILED TO START. I HAVE ONLY HAD TO REPLACE THE WATER PUMP DURING THE 14 YEARS. SHE HAS NEW SHOCKS, TIRES AND BATTERY TO UPDATE HER. Some folks looked at her that know a little more about Mopars than I and noticed that the rear torsion bar mounts are rusty and could stand to be replaced before too long. Looking up the parts on-line they go for approximately $130 per side; of course you still have to install them or have them installed. After some research it appears that this is a design flaw in Mopars and is a common issue. There is a small rust hole on the inside passenger fender that has been there and not changed during the fourteen years that I have owned her. This is on the inside fold where it attaches, not in the main part of the fender. There are no holes or rust visible in the body, though she does have some filler. She can use a headliner, other than that as can be seen in the photos, the interior is excellent. I am far from an expert with regard to the torsion bar mounts or body work. She is not a show car and has her few imperfections after 43 years, but she is not going for show car prices either. I can tell you that she presents herself well, runs great and has not changed or given me any trouble in the fourteen years that I have owned her. Please feel free to inspect the Barracuda or have someone inspect her for you. This car has been a part of the family for a long time and I have been very happy with her; I want the new owner to be happy also. The paint code is KK1, which is Medium Turquoise Metallic. I have done nothing with the paint, she has been the same since I have owned her. The interior code is H6X, which is High Trim Grade, Vinyl Bucket Seats. Black. The code for transmission = 3 speed automatic and the code for the rear end = 2.94. The VIN = BH23B72221559, which = the following: B = Barracuda H = High Price Class 23 = Two Door Hardtop B = 225, 145HP, 1 - 1BBL 6cyl. 7 = 1967 2 = Dodge Main, Hamtramck, MI 221559 = 121559th vehicle built. As information, this is NADA pricing. Also, this does not take into account the low miles. An indication as to how the miles are so low is that I have only driven her between 5,000 and 6,000 miles in 14 years and the gentleman that I bought her from in IN had her in storage for 11 years prior to my purchasing her. PRICING Original MSRP: $2,530 Low Retail - $6,625 Average Retail - $11,250 High Retail - $17,100 6 Cylinder Engine -10% -10% -10% TOTAL PRICE $5,963 $10,125 $15,390 Ended last auction early due to supposed buyer who was a no-show. Please bid only if you are a serious and sincere buyer that will follow through. I am selling this car because I got a new toy and no longer have garage space for her. I really do not want to pay to store her somewhere all winter. Come out and take a look and make an offer.
