1973 Chevy Camaro RS/Type LT.1973 Federal Goverment required that front end collision to be more stringent.This caused G.M. to add more,as well as stronger mounting brackets.These brackets are on this carmaro which makes it a true (Z22) Rally Sport option. There is no Vin ID that indicates the Rally Sport option,and the Cowl Tag does not have anything to identified the Rally Sport option as well, this is on all 1973 Camaro's.The only way to tell If a Camaro is a TRUE Rally Sport is these brackets and grill.This Camaro is a Type LT as well, which in 1973 the Super Sport option was replaced with the (1FS87) which is stamped on the Cowl . The Vin# has a letter "S" which also indicates Type LT option is on this Camaro.This Camaro has had two 2 owners, the Camaro was first titled on May 30 1973 and is from Oklahoma,,and now Because it is from the south the car has all the original sheet metal.Quarter panels are solid with surface rust where the vinal roof was.Doors are solid with a dent on the drivers side door,with very minor rust.Window cranks have longer shafts for the Deluxe interior door panels with the wood accent,which is the (Z21) option. I'm including a set of black Deluxe door panels with a set window trim to match.Rocker panels are solid with some minor surface rust.Fenders are solid with some rust in the common areas in my opinion they would have to be repaired,because you can not buy these fenders with the extra mounting holes for the requried brackets.Again this is what makes this Camaro a true (Z22) Rally Sport option Camaro.Trunk is in good condition there is a rust area that will need to be patched size of a hand.Option (U14) which is Special Instrumentation,also (PE1) option which is the Turbine-style rims.
