Vehicle Detail

A Solid 2002 Toyota Tacoma 2 Wheel Drive 5speed Pickup No Reserve (really) It's been maintained. No surprises. I got 26 Miles per gallon highway. with Owner's Manual, Spare Keys, Tow Hitch, Tow Electrical Hookup, Cap (locks, keys), Clear Title VIN: 5TENL42N82Z10806 MILEAGE:162K Overall: It needs a muffler ($209 Pepboys,$279 Midas) and I left the oil change for you. You are going to change the oil anyway when you get it home I figure. This was my daily driver up until yesterday and I've been keeping up with preventative maintanence. Oils, batteries hoses and belts, shocks etc. Other than that you can drive drive it across the country and there will be no surprises. The details... Good stuff: 5 speed: Manual transmission. Shifts crisply, no grinding the syncro's are good Clutch: 40K miles on it. It's good. Smooth. No sticky spots. Air Conditioning, heat, vents, defrost, Stereo Cassette, wipers, gauges, lights everything is working. Airbags: Two airbags Oil Consumption: It uses no oil. There is no smoke or discoloration in the exhaust. The rings and valve seals are good. Starts Fast: The battery is under warranty. Inspected: It's inspected to July 2011 It's pretty. You can see in the photos. There is very little rust, even down low at the rocker panels. See photos. Bad stuff: Rust spot at the windshield (see close up photo) Dent in drives rocker panel (see close up photo) Soil on drivers seat. Needs a muffler. Got estimates (see above) Needs oil change Rear tires are good but the front ones just passed inspection. The clutch whistles at idle. The Toyota mechanic says his Tacoma transmission also makes that noise. It has done this since I've had it and has not gotten louder. 12" scratch on front left fender at the headlight. Doesn't go through to the metal. Scratches at the bed paint area (see photos). Various spots of surface rust under the truck. Cosmetic only. There are paint chips in the front end and the front bumper (see close up photo). You know that plastic bushing the hood prop rod pivots in? That's broken. Well that's all I can think of. Send me an email if you have any questions. pdruby@yahoo.com Regards, Paul
