I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT with 4.0 V6 2wd Automatic for sale. It has about 147000 miles on it. The motor was replaced a few years ago and the transmission was replaced last year. No Warranties though but they had less miles on them than the Explorer does now. . This thing drives great and has no leaks but the drain plug on the transmission pan is a little wet because the plug needs thread sealant.. I have cleaned off the wetness and drove it for a while. Seems to not be getting wet anymore. Remember this is not a leak was just a little damp Seems to be fixed.. The front tires are in great shape but it needs rear ones (could make it a little further with these. The paint is in great shape and has a few flaws on the outside. This would be the Explorer crack in the rear hatch and a dent in the rear hatch. Also has a few scratches on the bumper. The ABS light is on because it needs a rear sensor which is $50. The price was at autozone. I never made it to fix it. Been busy lately. I have been driving it like this since i got it. The reason i think its the rear sensor and nothing else is because I had to lock the brakes down one time and the front abs worked and the rear did not. Specs: It has a billet grille. Towing package Clean on the inside with just some normal wear on the seats and a few stains in the carpet that are not really noticeable. I changed the rear end dope with the proper kind about 3 months ago. Has power windows and locks. Has third row seating Has rear air Heat and air work great. Leather tan seats Single factory CD player that works great Cruise I also have the original window sticker. If you are from an emissions county we can take it and test it. It will pass but have never done it because I don’t live in a county that requires it. The closest place to test it is about an hour away. I am selling this at about the fair trade in value of $4500. It is not in fair shape but I would put it between good and great for it being 8 yrs old. It is worth more than I am asking. Right now the title is on the loan but I would go to the bank with you and pay it off and get you the title that day. So that is not a problem. Its local to me and if need be you can pick up in the evening and we do a bill of sale and i mail the title to you. But we can work this out with no problems. I have tried to cover everything on this vehicle best i could and be honest. I always try to point out the bad even if its not noticable. Thanks for looking.
