Bought this car a few years ago to see if I could fix it up. Did that and used it for a daily driver for a few years. Other things got in the way and I parked it, four years ago (2006). Now the transmission valve body is stuck and it won't move. Had the same problem when I first bought it, minor fix will get it going. When it ran, it ran "like a scalded dog!" Put a 351 Windsor in it with chrome headers and duel exhausts. Edlebroc/Weber carburetor (850cc?) Did NOT cut the shock towers. Everything else is original and it handles like a dream! Probably because I put an Export Brace and Monte Carlo Bar on it. I replaced: Instrument bezel, headlight switch, ignition switch, tie rod ends, drag link, sway bar end links, sway bar insulators and brackets, strut rod bushings, rear leaf spring bushings and shackles, lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, rear spring shackles and bushings, master cylinder, regulator, Gas tank, sending unit, all four shock absorbers, V-8 coil springs in the front, leaf springs in the rear, all four brake wheel cylinders, all parts on brakes (only original parts are the back plates), Glove Box door, tail light bezels, transmission shifter, heater plenum, heater core, heater blower motor, windshield wiper motor, heater dash control bezels, and applied an undercoating. All it needs is paint job and interior. This car has a clean Texas title. Has the original C-4 transmission. Cut and balanced the drive shaft for the 351 Windsor. All original chrome. It is a great running car, runs now and has new tires. Mileage is on engine and tires. But is being sold as-is with no warranties. Can be seen and heard in New Boston, Texas.
