Vehicle Detail
1970 Chevrolet CST-10 / 350 Nicely Started Restoration COLD FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING This great barn find was bought from the original owner's heir! ALL ORIGINAL, UNMOLESTED SHORT WHEEL BASE FLEETSIDE CST The truck has been gone through from end to end and everything to make it a good daily driver has been either replaced with new parts or cleaned and repaired. The list of new items not including screws, etc...is as follows: Interior - Headliner, Door Panels, Arm Rests, Instrument Panel Cover, Shift Indicator, AC hoses, Vents, Defroster, Knobs, Front Glass, All Glass Rubbers and Felt (except vent windows the rubber was on backorder), New window regulators, Sunvisors (the passenger side came in today), door release handles, window cranks, dash, glovebox, and interior was painted the original Chevy Med. Green. (New door locks with Keys come with truck) Exterior - all bulbs, rear lenses, Ralley Wheels, trim rings and center caps, NEW Tires, brakes redone with new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, new power booster (just arrived), lug nuts and locks (in glovebox). Mechanical - Front end, Springs, Shocks, wheel bearings, top end overhaul including custom rochester with electronic choke, Air Conditioning, and HDI ignition, real nice dual "cherry bomb" exhaust with stainless 3" dual exhaust tips on each side of truck, plugs, wires, filters, flushes, etc. Rust - These trucks have certain areas that are prone for rust out, this truck is a good straight truck which only had one bad area which was the passenger rocker panel which was cut out and a new one welded back in. The brown under the fender wells are dirt not rust. This truck was undercoated when new according to original buyer's heir. Signs of the undercoat are very obvious as now it is starting to flake off, but it did it's job! Left to do: Paint, Install Power Booster, (1) Sunvisor, Seat recovered or buy at Classic Chevrolet, Drive another 100K miles. Why am I selling: purchased and built for my son who just didn't appreciate it as much as his old man, he wanted a a late model car instead. Would keep for myself but just have too many other toys, my loss is your gain. This truck is the straightest and cleanest non-molested that I have seen and I've had many of these trucks. This truck could be stripped and brought back to show winning condition or paint it and have an awesome daily driver. This truck drives EXTREMELY nice down the road, undercarriage and other mechanical work was done well. GOOD LUCK! Starting at my bottom dollar and for sale locally.
