1987 Nissan 300ZX T-Top 1987 Nissan 300ZX T-Top Coupe. This is a local Middle Tennessee car that has always been local was sold new in Columbia Tennessee. This is a 3 owner car with all the original paperwork including the original window sticker, manuals and more. Mileage at the time of this auction is 121,400 miles. Since this car is over 10 years of age I am selling this car as Mileage Exempt for reporting purposes. This car was purchased from a local lady attorney who had owned the car for years. Overall the car is in nice condition. The exterior of the car is original paint with the exception of the driver’s side rear quarter panel and drivers door which were repainted many years ago. The factory original paint is still in nice condition. The paint has faded and flaked on the 2 repainted panels. There is no evidence of any damage or repair just the above mentioned repainting. Overall the exterior of the car is in nice condition. The car is totally rust free. The front bumper cover is excellent. The hideaway headlights work properly. The hood is excellent. Both front fenders are in nice condition. Both doors are excellent. The rear quarter panels are in nice condition. The rear bumper and tail lights are in nice condition. All the glass in the car is excellent. The rear hatch struts work properly. The hood support gas struts are weak. The Factory T-Tops are in nice condition complete with working latches, original sunshade screens and original T-Top storage bags. The car is very straight with just 1 or 2 little dings that could be serviced by a paint-less dent repair technician. Mechanically this car runs and drives very well. The engine starts quickly and runs great. The 5 speed transmission shifts properly and the clutch is nice and light to the touch. In April of 2010 this car had a major service at Crawfords Z Car Service in Nashville Tennessee that included a NEW timing belt, fan belts, radiator fluid change, oil/filter and preventive maintainance. The bill for this service was over $900.00 One A/C hose was bad and has also been replaced along with a new A/C drier and all O rings. I have evacuated the system and it holds vacuum however I have not charged the system with Freon. I have also installed new rear KYB gas shock absorbers. All four aluminum wheels are excellent with no curb marks, nice center caps and lugnuts. The tires are in good condition. The exhaust is complete and correct with the correct catalytic converter. The steering rack is nice and tight. The car runs and drives down the road properly. All the necessary and required maintainence has been performed. The factory radio works well along with the factory power antennae. The only 2 mechanical picks with the car are the passenger power window motor that does not work and the tachometer which is not working. The original spare tire is in the car and has never been used. The factory tool kit is also included in the car. The interior of this Z car is completely original and in excellent condition. The dash pad is nice. Both cloth bucket seats are in excellent original condition. The power lumber controls on the driver’s seat work properly. The leather wrapped steering wheel is excellent. All the carpet in the car is original and in good condition. The glass T-Tops are nice with working handles and locks. The door panels are very nice along with the armrests. The headliner is original and in good condition. This is very nice and original 1987 300ZX.
