Up for bid is the last of the muscle cars, an original beautiful looking Yellow and Black 1972 Mach 1 Ford Mustang. This vehicle comes un restored for the most part with a clean title in hand. This engine on this Mach 1 Mustang has a 351 Cleveland and is the original motor with 59,323 miles. This vehicle was originally purchased as a project car, but requires much more time and skill that I can give at this time. This Mach 1 starts up and runs great, the previous owner even installed an electric starter. However the vehicle also has some problems. The C-6 Auto transmission has went out and needs to be restored or replaced. The automatic steering fluid pump needs to be replaced as well, since it does leak some fluids. There are also various cosmetic interior and exterior pieces that are missing or need some restoration. The car comes without trim. The car has been outfitted with brand new leather racing seats and a B&M shifter that enables you to partly shift at 2nd and 3rd gear. This windshield and other glasses are crack free and look superb for being the original glass. There are brand new tires on the vehicle as well. The body of of the mustang would need some restoration as well as there are some rust above the tires and on the right side of the trunk. Although that cant be seen from the outside of the vehicle. The headlights work very well on the vehicle however the blinkers and interior lights are out. The gas gage on the vehicle does not work. The door hinge on the drivers side also needs to be replaced as the door doesn't close properly. This is a fantastic project vehicle and honestly looks amazing! This Mustang Mach 1 needs some one who can get the car to its original glory, unfortunately this is a little too much of an undertaking for someone like me who has a limited time and mechanical ability. I have included as many pictures as ebay will allow to better get a description of the vehicle since that is often times hard to do in words.
