SquareTrade © AP6.0 getchagadgets Store I'm selling my 1991 Ford F-150 XL. I purchased it in January when I was snowed in on my steep mountain driveway and had a lot of stuff to haul. It served it's purpose well but I am more of a station wagon type of driver and only need one vehicle. I am the 4th owner and have a Carfax report that you can look at. The VIN number is 2FTEF14N4MCA14773. THE GOOD *117K miles. * It is a V8 with a 5.0 EFI engine that has been bored. This truck ROARS and is easily the most powerful thing I have ever driven. * It has two fuel tanks, forward and rear. * Trailer hitch. * The factory tape deck works fine. * Good bed-liner. *The 4x4 HI and LOW can be engaged from the drivers seat. You don't need to get out and lock the wheels. * New battery. Newer breaks. Lots of new hoses. *Since this is a 1991 model it is exempt from emissions inspections in NC. * Extended bed. I can haul two standard sized pallets placed next to each other. THE BAD *The exhaust system is falling off it and needs to be replaced. Parts for this truck are plentiful and they are usually pretty easy to work on. This is the only issue with the truck that requires immediate attention. Basically it needs a new muffler and pipes. * The truck is currently started by pushing in a pin on the steering column and stopped by pulling it out. I've been told that the tumbler needs to be replaced and that it is an inexpensive fix, but I've been content with the push-button ignition so haven't had it looked into. * The windows are funny. The driver's side window motor doesn't work. I pull it up and down by hand. The front windshield has cracks on the top and bottom. It doesn't affect my view of the road. The passenger side window has been replaced with plexiglass. *The gear indicator doesn't function. You will need to know if you are in R,D,or N without looking at the display. * There is nothing that makes me think it was in an accident but there are some dings and dents. It's a truck, what were you expecting? *The passenger side inside door handle is missing. It can still be opened from inside if you grab the right part and pull, or you can open it from the outside. The exhaust is really the only thing that truly needs to be addressed. Here's your chance to get a very powerful truck for cheap.
