Up for bid is this 1966 Pontiac GTO VIN 242176B124624. It has a rebuilt 389 Tri-Power motor with a Muncie 4-speed Manual Transmission. The color is Barrier Blue. The car was built in March of 1966 and the motor was built at the end of 1965. This car was originally equipped with seat belts and power trunk latch. I purchased this car in 1993 as a project car shipped from Pennsylvania. I have its original title and protect-o-plate. It is an incomplete frame-off restoration. Everything under the car was replaced or restored. The floors are solid and the trunk was completely replaced. Restoration parts were purchased thru Year One and I have all the receipts. The breaks were converted to disc brakes. The interior headliner, carpet, heater core and sound deadener were replaced but the seats, door panels and glass are original. It also has its original radio. The quarter panel skirts were replaced. The gas tank is the original and was shipped to Canada and restored. Since I have owned this car it has always been stored inside, it has never seen salt or snow. It does need a wiper motor and new points. The list of replaced parts is too long to list but if you have any questions or would like more photos, please feel free to ask. I will do my best to help.
