Vehicle Detail
1968 Dodge Charger * Original 383 automatic car * Factory air * Factory tint on windows. The windshield has a small chip but the rest are all in good shape. * 22,667 mileage showing on odometer Here is what I know about this vehicle. I first saw her when I went to buy a Metropolitan last year. She is the sister of the Charger I sold on Ebay last month. She was out in the open yard on blocks with the wheels removed. Her last tag was in 1981 so she has been parked for 30 years. The body is very straight and solid. It originally had a vinyl roof that was removed so the roof is very solid. The doors open and close like a new car. The windows all roll down and the outside remote control mirror is still working and in great shape. The bumpers are straight and the grill is excellent. The engine is mostly there but what you see is what it has. (More pictures available upon request) It rolls easy and the steering seems good. The interior is all original. 1 small crack on the padded dash. Floors are very solid with only slight rust on driver's floor. The trunk lock is broke and wont open. I looked in from behind rear seat and I see some rust on floor so I would assume it needs patched. The wheels are one's I have had for years. 15"x8" Western tires are okay. I have been watching Chargers since I bought these last November and I think this is one of the best restoration candidates that I have seen. I found the Build Sheet attached to the back seat and information that she was first sold in Sulphur Springs, Texas. This car is sold with a BILL OF SALE only! The owner passed away 20 years ago and now the wife is ill so the cars were sold. The brother has power of attorney and would be cooperative if any further paperwork is required.
