1985 JEEP CJ 7 My loss your gain!! I have almost $13,000.00 in this Jeep. This includes the cost of originally purchasing the 1985 Jeep CJ 7 and all the work I have done to it since. This Jeep is rock solid and in great condition. I purchased this 1985 Jeep CJ 7 four years ago in Arkansas. It had 110,761 original miles before I changed the speedometer. It has been garage kept for the last four years and I have only put 80 miles on it since. With a new baby here my wife is making me let it go plus she wants "her garage back". This 1985 Jeep CJ 7 has an in-line six cylinder engine and a manual four speed transmission. The Jeep has power steering and brakes. The following items have been done to the Jeep and have only about 1,000 miles on them...rebuilt 258 in-line six cylinder motor, new 2.5 inches lift, new shackle reverse kit, I used YJ leaf springs instead of CJ leaf springs with the lift kit to have a better ride, new shackles, new sway bar disconnects, new rims, new 32 x 11.50 Dunlop all terrain tires that have about 95% of the tread left and the rubber stubs are still on the side walls, inside of the cab was Rinho lined in black, Bestop front seats, new steel braided brake lines, new master cylinder for power brakes, brakes redone, new starter, new 20 gallon gas tank, new shocks, new steering stablizer, new drop pitman arm, new distributor, new refurbished exhaust manifold, and new muffler. The following items have less than 100 miles on them...new Energy Suspension body cab mounts, bump stops, and swaybar disconnect bushings in red. The transmission was professionally rebuilt last week and cost me $1,000.00. It has a brand new Bestop Supertop with Tinted Windows in Black, new spare tire, new spare tire rim, new chrome lug nuts on all wheels, new chrome center caps for rims, new spare tire cover by Bestop in black, refurbished rear tire carrier, new black carpet inside, new JEEP radio, new speakers in dash, new VDP Supreme Sound Wedges speaker boxes attached to roll bar and speakers, new roll bar cover in black from Bestop, new Mean Green Alternator, new OE Jeep dash pad, new Grant Signature Series Elite GT steering wheel, new Jeep horn button for steering wheel, new transmission and transfer case knobs, new roll bar dome light, new Tuffy glove box, new Bestop center console, all new dash guages, new dash lamp set, new grab bar in black, new black dash overlay, new tire stop in black, all new black hardware for hood, new black hood intake, new KC slim lights in black, new KC lights in back, new windershield wiper arms, new windshield wiper overflow bottle, new overflow bottle for radiator, new windshield frame, new windshield, new windshield gaskets, new windshield hindges in black, new KC light windshield mounts in black, new red top Optima battery, new fan shroud, new hoses, new oil pump, new Weber carburetor, new rear tail lights, new Sylvania SilverStar head lights, all new turn signal lights, new Rugged Ridge 3" front and rear bumper made for winch for front and back bumper has receiver hitch, new d ring for back receiver hitch, new black driver and passenger sides mirrors, new black steel diamond panneling under the doors, new distributor cap, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new Rugged Ridge heavy duty steering box brace, new transmission shifter boot, new transfer case shifter boot, new oil pressure sending unit, new temperature sending unit, new ignition coil, new starter solenoid, and new speedometer cluster. I am probably forgetting some things and will add them to the list. The previous owner also had the axles redone about 1,000 miles before I purchased the Jeep from him. He repainted the Jeep himself about 6-7 years ago. The paint is in okay condition and still looks good. I was going to have the Jeep repainted in a dark grey color if I kept it. He also put Warn premium hubs on the front axles. The body is in great shape with no rust. I have ALL (or most of all of them) receipts and will give them to you. I purchased an original owner manual and repair manuals I will give you. I also have a bunch of spare parts I will give you along with a Flaming River steering shaft and joints I have not installed yet. THIS JEEP RUNS GOOD AND LOOKS GOOD. IT DOES HAVE MINOR WEAR ON IT BECAUSE IT IS A 25 YEAR OLD USED VEHICLE. THE JEEP IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO EXPRESSED WARRANTY.
