Up for bid is my 1977 Clubman Leyland Mini that I purchased on ebay 2 years ago with full intentions of restoring. I am in the middle of restoring my '61 Traveller and my wife and I are starting our own business so I need to thin out my collection to make room. My plan was to restore this car before starting the Traveller but once I started driving it around no one in my family wanted to take it off the road so we've been having fun with it for the past 2 years. The car is originally from New Zealand but it has a clear GA title and moved with me to Florida. It has the 998 engine with a header and exhaust. It has Cheviot wheels which are popular "down under" and I added a set of quadoptic headlamps which really light up the road. It does have a few rust issues in all the normal spots, the drip edges along the roof and the drivers side door need attention. The floors are in great shape and the engine runs well so it's a great solid car to start with. I placed a buy it now price of 5500.00 but this includes a like new 2010 6X12 motorcycle trailer which I used to haul my Minis around with. I'm not sure but since this is a No Reserve auction I think the buy it now option will go away as soon as someone bids on this but I will close the auction if anyone decides to take me up on the package deal. Check my other auctions for info on the trailer, I think the price is a steal for the whole package but we need the room and I just don't have the time for all my hobbies. I will be happy to show it to anyone interested and can deliver within a reasonable radius of the Central Florida area.
