Up for bid is a 1971 Chrysler New Yorker, 4 door hardtop. Crystal Dawn Metallic in color, with a gold vinyl top, this New Yorker is 95% rust free with original paint The front driver's door has been re-painted from the factory pin stripe down. The rarest option is its a 440 TNT equipped car. There were a mere 644 equipped 440 TNT New Yorkers built per Chrysler's historical society. The car was taken off the road in the late '70's with just over 100,000 miles on it due to a transmission failure and sat for many years. I purchased the car in the early '90's minus motor and transmission. I installed a 383 - 2 barrel motor and transmission from a 1971 Chrysler Newport. The car was never put back on the road and has been in inside storage since. The high performance exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust are still on the car and it did run prior to it being stored. It has an almost perfect black interior with a 3-in-1 divided power vinyl bench seat. The door panels along with the dash pad are also in near perfect condition. The other options this car has are power windows, power door locks, tilt-a-scope steering wheel, auto temp II, AM-FM mulitplex radio and dual power seats. I also have a mint build sheet plus extra front and rear valances to replace the damaged ones on the car.
