This ia a nicely maintained 1977 Porsche 911S Targa with a fresh 3.0 liter sport tuned engine (built by Johnson Autosports, Shakopee, MN) with a rebuilt 5 speed manual (915) transmission (less than 2500 miles since rebuild). The Chassis has 115652 miles on it and been well maintained and has many upgrades. The car is a real treat to drive, is a non-smoker's car, and has been garaged regularly. The car comes with an indoor cover, floor mats and hood bra. The car is track ready and road legal. It has a clear title and many upgrades listed below. 3.0 liter engine - Center bored, new bearing, 3.2L turbo oil pump, carrera chain tensioners, Donovan Automotive DC40 cams, PMO 40mm carbs (new), BBS stainless steel exhaust / heat exchangers, turbo valve covers, Bosche alternator, MSD CD box with 6500 RPM rev-limiter and high output MSD Blaster coil, Magnecore (8.5mm) competition ignition wires, 1978 mechanical distributor (newly rebuilt) with magnet pickups and new intermediate shaft, new one-piece cam chains, new chain guides, new valve guides and springs. new wiring harness, 11 blade cooling fan, new billet aluminum deep sump and drain, new oil lines (Elephant Racing finned lines), new thermostat, and carrera front oil cooler. This engine pulls strong and sounds mean. 915 Transmission - New 1st gear, replaced all synchros, new clutch disc and cabling, new CV joints and boots, new Wevo shift gate, replaced all bushings, new billet aluminum shift knob. Shifts smoothly and easily. Interior - Newly rebuilt gauges with Boxster font. Work done by North Hollywood Speedometer includes new led lighting, white faces, all gauges calibrated, needles restored, new silver powder-coated bezels. Dash redone in Brazilian Rosewood. New Jensen AM/FM/MP3/CD radio with a new Hirschfield antenna and 6-way Infinity speakers. Leather seats are in good shape without any tears. Rennsport aluminum floor boards. Camel and black interior. Stainless steel Porsche door sills. Exterior - New tinted windshield, H4 headlights, new rocker panel rubber. Suspension - Updated with 28mm torsion bars, front and back stabilizers, new wheel bearings, new strut tower brace, new targa body braces, new Boxster 16 inch rims with new Kuhmo 205 / 60 ZR 16 Ecsta SPX tires. Brakes - Upgraded system with newly rebuilt Boxster brake calipers, Pagid pads, TRE Boxster brake conversion kit, new hardlines, stainless steel DOT flexible lines, and a new Porsche 23mm master cylinder and booster. Body - No majors blemishes but the previous owner used a plasticised primer that is starting to produce small cracks in the paint. No rust. Last of the narrow bodies.
