Vehicle Detail
I am relisting this vehicle from where it was suppose to have sold, but the winning bidder who used the option of "Buy It Now" would not honor his bid. Ebay has since suspended his Ebay account & he can not bid on anything through Ebay. So please do not bid on Cougar if you are not serious about honoring your bid. This auction is for a 1999 Mercury Cougar that is black and is an automatic. It has 132,815 miles on it and it has a sunroof. It also has a dvd player in it, but it is not hooked up. It was that way when I bought it. I purchased the car back in February of this year through an online auction, but realized that I didn't want it after I got it. The seller who I had purchased the vehicle from had said that the interior was black, but it turned out that the majority of the color on the inside was gray. This Cougar I will say is a very fast car. When I was driving the Cougar back from Beckley, WV where I bought the car from, I got up to around 110 to 115 miles and I was not even trying to drive that fast. I don't know much about the history of it because of only having it for a short while. I do know that the gear shift is a little stiff, but does still work. There is a light that comes on the dashboard. When I took the vehicle to a local Advance Auto Parts store to run on one of their testing machines, the technician at Advance said that it needed a part that was around $50. The front spoiler that makes the Cougar look like that it is sitting low to the ground is cracked. The previous owner repaired it, but what he did was a temporary fix. I don't know what the Cougar all needs for sure because I am no mechanic, but will say that I drive it around the area at times with it. I am willing to deliver the Cougar if the high bidder lives close by or in the region. I won't charge a delivery fee if the high bidder doesn't live too far off from me. I will also deliver the title with the vehicle. I expect full payment at auctions end. I accept eCHECK, Cashiers Check, money order, or personal check(once clears). Once I recieve payment, preparations will be made to deliver the Cougar to the high bidder. If you have any questions, feel free to email me and I will answer them the best I can. The Cougar is also eligible for Vehicle Purchase Protection up to $50,000 if it makes any bidder feel more at ease when bidding. My "Reserve" price is my rock bottom price. I won't be relisting the Cougar if it doesn't sell in this auction. I intend to either sell it to a local buyer who has offered to give me what I want for the Cougar, but in payments or I will trade it in at a local dealership for another vehicle. Thanks!
