Vehicle Detail
1993 Dodge W250 (3/4 ton), 5spd, 4wd, LE package, Long Bed, Club Cab(ex-cab), 12 valve Cummins Turbo Diesel, A/C, tilt, cruise, SRW, power windows and door locks, tow package, factory tachometer, 178,000 miles, factory aluminum rims. This truck is in excellent condition, runs and drives just like new, very tight and very strong. NO leaks. AC blows COLD! 4 wheel drive works flawlessly, rarely used. Everything works. NOT used for heavy hauling, goose-neck hitch never used by me and rarely by previous owner (previously owned by a diesel tech). Very well maintained with all regularly scheduled maintenance by myself and previous owner. Title is free and clear, with a recent clean CAR FAX history report. Comes with all original paperwork and owners manuals from purchase in 1993 from Gresham Dodge. New Parts: Newly rebuilt 5 spd transmission, new HD clutch and pressure plate, many upgrades(tranny very tight and shifts perfectly). Newly upgraded rear main seal. New Toyo Open Country A/T's from Les Schwab with warranty. New front brakes, bearings, seals, rotors turned, etc., from Les Schwab with warranty. New Alpine CD player with Bluetooth (talk hands free through stereo speakers), and has USB plug-in on the face for I-pod or mp3 player, from Stereo King. New Alpine 6x9 door speakers, from Stereo King. New Carter high-flow electric fuel lift pump installed by professionals, (still has the working factory original manual fuel lift pump, with fuel lines capped off) New floor mats! Recently rebuilt rear end (Dana 70) with Yukon parts and Timkin bearings. (ABS left disconnected purposefully). (This truck also has the highly sought after Dana 60 Kingpin front axle) Recently had 3200 RPM governor spring installed by diesel tech. Recently had upgraded steering shaft installed by diesel tech to correct factory issue. Recently had fuel pin turned slightly in, to increase HP (Only turned slightly, NOT overdone). Recently had new turbo-back straight pipe exhaust (no muffler or cat-converter). Recently had the "killer dowel pin" fix that afflicted the 1990- 2002 Dodge Cummins engines. Recently replaced turbo, with a little smaller diameter housing (16cm)to improve turbo response. Additional accessories: Pro Tech aluminum headache rack Better-built diamond plate tool box 100 gallon L shaped fuel transfer tank with no pump (it is set up to be a spare fuel tank for the truck, would only need to be plumbed in) Diamond plate bed rails POP-UP goose-neck hitch in bed (and has regular towing package) Not installed yet- New Steel Horse aluminum saddle steps Not installed yet- Sky Jacker front end leveling kit Cold air intake with huge filter (also have spare K & N filter) Extra set of brand new front brake pads + brand new rotors! Still in box, never opened (Ended up having Les Schwab do the brakes, so these were kept as spares)! Whole extra bed and tailgate, with colors matching to truck! (I found this deal and could not pass it up! The bed and tailgate on truck are in great shape, but it is a spare just in case!) Block heater Not installed- two gauge pillar mount for after-market gauges (fuel pressure, auxiliary fuel tank gauge, pyro, boost, etc.)Do not have any extra gauges though, just the pillar mount. (Also, this truck came from the factory with the highly sought after and expensive Dodge tachometer that mounts to the dash, I have seen these tachs sell for upwards of $300.00) Light surface rust on the top of the cab, and faded paint on the hood. The truck needs nothing, except this paint issue corrected if the new owner finds it necessary. This truck has spent most it's life in Eastern Oregon (Pendleton, La Pine, Bend), so there is NO RUST ANYWHERE ELSE other than that surface rust on the top of the cab. I had a quality paint and auto-body shop give an estimate on repainting the hood and top of the cab, and was quoted $600 to re-do it to factory paint condition. The rest of the trucks paint is in great condition. The interior is near perfect, with only a small tear (1 inch) in seat on drivers side seam, and a small pencil sized hole in upholstry on passenger side(upholstery is perfect other than this). Everything else is beautiful inside, including a perfect headliner, carpet, dash, and rear jump seats. This is not your run of the mill truck, it is in rarely seen condition for 1st gen Dodges, with reasonably low mileage for a Cummins (These engines will run through 500,000 miles with proper maintenance). It has already had all the important upgrades, and has many rebuilt and new parts, not to mention the extras that come with it. Please keep in mind that this is not a new truck, it is 17 years old and has some of the normal wear and tear associated with a truck of this age and mileage. It is not in brand new condition, but it is in excellent condition and is a solid, dependable truck. Buyer will be required to pay the final price of the truck within three days of the end of the auction. I will need to meet in person with the buyer to receive full payment, truck can be driven away or shipped after that happens. Please no flakes, if you don't have the money to buy this or can't meet the payment requirements do not bid. Thanks for looking!!On Oct-01-10 at 10:04:00 PDT, seller added the following information: **Update: I have gotten quite a few questions from interested buyers, and I would like to address a few of the more important ones. The truck gets around 500 miles to the tank, about 20 miles per gallon, depending on how it is driven. The truck does not have a "brand new transmission," the factory transmission was "newly rebuilt" by a professional transmission shop in Medford, Oregon. It has been less than 7000 miles since that rebuild. The gearing was not changed when the rear-end was rebuilt, it was rebuilt to factory specs using high quality parts. I believe the factory gearing to be 3.54 or 3.55. 1st gear is like a granny gear, and I normally start driving from 2nd. The truck runs/drives perfectly at highway speeds, and runs at about 1800-1900 RPM's doing 70 mph down the freeway in 5th gear (Will drive faster than that, but I've never had a reason to take it any faster.). The running gear and 4 wheel drive are all in perfect condition, absolutely no issues. When the new tires were installed, I asked Les Schwab to inspect all brakes, steering components, running gear, bushings, bearings, kingpins, everything, and replace anything that needed to be replaced. They only replaced the front brakes, turned rotors, front wheel bearings, front oil seals, and said that everything else looked perfect. I will not divulge the reserve amount on this auction. The reserve amount will be known when the bidding has reached it. The tow package includes a factory receiver hitch for bumper pull trailers, a trailer plug in for electrical, and a pop-up gooseneck hitch in the bed. The truck is wired and ready for an electric brake controller, but does not have one currently installed. The truck starts right up with the slight tap of the key every time. No cranking on it whatsoever, even if it has been sitting for a week or more without being started. It fires right up straight away and runs and drives like it was new. No slop in the steering at all, drives straight and smooth. The truck comes with a number of not-installed accessories such as the new aluminum saddle steps, Skyjacker leveling kit, a few spare filters (air, fuel, etc.) as mentioned in the ad. The truck also comes with an entire extra complete bed and tailgate with colors matching to the truck (Buyer must bring trailer or make arrangements to haul the bed upon pick-up). However, I do not require the buyer to take these items if they do not want them. I will keep one or more of them, but I will not discount the final price of the truck reached in the auction if the buyer chooses to not take any accessory item that comes with the truck. As I receive more questions that I believe everyone will want to see, I will post them here. Thanks for the interest! On Oct-02-10 at 19:55:37 PDT, seller added the following information: *Update: The truck also has overloads installed for towing on the rear leaf springs. I added pictures of the engine, front and rear differentials, undercarriage, and the Carter high flow electric lift pump. The gear ratio is 3.55. On Oct-03-10 at 11:47:24 PDT, seller added the following information: *Update: The loan/lien shown on the vehicle history report was financing that the previous owner used to buy the truck. That loan has been satisfied, there is no outstanding loan or lien against this truck. Thanks!
