Vehicle Detail
Selling this vehicle for half of what I bought it for. However, I've invested about $3200 in massive maintenance to this car over the past 2 years. It is high mileage (see odometer pic), but I don't believe this is the original engine...it just runs wayyyy too good for a 1993! This vehicle was used every day as a commuter car for about 100 miles/day until it was in a minor accident in June 2010 where the rear bumper was sheared off. The bumper can be bolted back on for about $400 at a junkyard, or less if you can find one of these around. You can also attempt to repair/rebolt the old bumper to the car. Structurally, the car was not hit so the only damage to the car is from the bumper shearing off. The left tailight was broken/needs replacing. There's a minor dent on both sides of the car in the rear quarter panels. Otherwise, all doors/trunk/hood open/close fine. This car has a current Maryland State Inspection and plates. Massive maintenance was put into th is car. I was going to put a bumper on it and maybe even paint it, but got a great deal on a new truck so I decided to go that route. It has a HUGE number of new or repaired parts as follows (within the past 2 yrs): New front struts. New rear shocks. New upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat, radiator and heater core. Both tie rods (serviced/lubed only). New oil pressure sender. New wiper arms. New left window regulator but has since fallen off track so the left window doesn't roll down/up correctly right now and needs to be looked at. Tires are near new, plenty of tread left. New left & right power door lock actuators, but power locks are currently inoperative, likely need lubrication/adjustment, actuators still attempt to open/close doors. New windshield. All new instrument panel bulbs. New catalytic converter and muffler. New backup lamp switch. New JVC HD radio AM/FM/CD/MP3 player and speakers. All standard tuneup/service parts & labor maintained this car in excellent running condition. Far as I know, it doesn't even burn/leak oil. I believe the engine was replaced at some time, but no idea for sure. It runs wayyyy too good to be original mileage engine. This car drives and tracks great! I offer a 'no questions asked full 2 week refund after pickup' to the buyer. I've been ripped off on an ebay car. I'm a police officer. This car is fully as described. If not, you get your money back 14 days after pickup w/return to delivery location. Issues: This car leaks rain onto the floor and trunk when it rains which drains through weep holes in the floor (so it's like a jeep now). Runs fine in summer and winter. The air conditioning does NOT work currently. It did, then didn't. I never fixed it. COULD be a charge is needed. This is the old type freon. As mentioned, the door locks currently don't work. Good luck bidding!
