I have a 1977 Jeep CJ 5 project. I bought it with the intentions of building a rock crawler and mudder out of it. Because of college I do not have the money to finish it so I will let someone else do it. I bought it as a tub and frame and have bought an AMC 360 with a 727 Auto tranny, front racing seats, CUSTOM roll cage instead of the joke of factory roll cage, hood that needs straightened out and different front fenders since the ones that came on it were fiberglass. The AMC 360 runs STRONG it just needs a carburetor. I would recommend getting a 4-barrel manifold and a 4-barrel carb. This motor is also set up for power steering. It does not have a title but I will write you a bill of sale so you can file for a lost title, or if your going to run it only offroad you do not need one. The only things that it needs to be one BAD JEEP is a transfer case, drive shafts, wheels and I would recommend bigger axles. Also in the picture of the roll cage it actually sits down in there. I had just put it on there to have more room in my shop. Jeep does not run as of right now, although it will take very little to make it run.
