1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Up for auction this beautiful Silver Shadow, VIN # SRX2923. This is an exquisite saloon and makes a statement wherever it goes. Being a Texas car up until last year, then just taken out sporadically for a leisurely drive on a sunny day, it is naturally 100% rust free. Grandeur is truly an understatement when defining this car, there are very few cars in existence which display the prominence of the Silver Shadow. -Exterior- This car is as rust free as you will find, is not a single spot of rust anywhere on this car including the undercarriage, body, trunk, battery tray and floors. All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing and the brightwork is in magnificent shape. The paint is in overall excellent shape though there are a couple of spots where the the car has been touched up, in other words the car could use a wet sand/detail to eliminate some of the minor paint imperfections. All in all the car is extremely presentable and imperfections are not readily visible unless you are looking for them, even then they are difficult to find. It is not a concourse quality paint job, but makes an excellent driver. The tires are brand new with close to no miles on them, the original hubcaps are in very good condition. -Interior- The original interior is in presentable condition, though it is beginning to show the vehicle's age. There is one crack in the leather above the rear seat where the sun has dried out the leather, this is a relatively easy and cheap fix for an experienced upholstery shop to do. All of the instruments and switches work well including the power windows and seats. The original wool headliner is in outstanding condition. -Engine & Transmission- The car has been well maintained and it shows! The engine idles and runs very well, it actually runs noticeably quieter and smoother than my wifes Lexus! The car shifts seamlessly, handles superbly and drives straight and true...it drives like a Rolls Royce! I do not see any indication of the car ever being in an accident or having suffered damage of any kind however the car was repainted at some point to refresh the vehicle. The car is free on any liens and I have a clean title in hand, this car is ready for a new home. -TERMS OF SALE- This is a NO RESERVE auction with a $1.00 starting bid...highest bidder gets it so bid to win!!!
