Vehicle Detail
I'm looking to sell my 1967 Ford Mustang fastback that I've had for a little over 2.5 years to build my dream garage. The individual that I bought it from had been working on it and buying parts for it for 5 years. I paid $23k for the project when I bought it but it came with a $5k 347 stroker and a built C4 transmission that I sold last year. So there is NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION INCLUDED in the sale. The car comes with lots of nice parts but still needs more to be a high end car. There is over $15k in receipts for parts that are included with the car and probably more parts that I don't have receipts for. The car comes with the Total Control Products power rack and pinion with Koni coilovers and blue tubular A arms ($4500+), a complete aeroform eleanor kit w/ fiberglass fenders ($3500+), an 03-04 Cobra IRS w/ DVS Restorations brackets to install in a 67 ($2000+), slightly used Eleanor wheels and tires (used them on my 2007 Mustang GT for very few miles), Eleanor grill kit, custom console, and light kit. Some engine parts, a totally stainless bolt kit, a new gas tank, a side fill tube and some other new stuff. There is also a lot of used factory parts included with the car including all good factory tinted glass, all usable fastback interior parts, power brake booster, heater box, a rear seat, original driveshaft and Cobra aluminum driveshaft, plus lots more. THERE ARE MORE NEW AND USED PARTS THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO PULL OUT OF BOXES AND OUT OF THE GARAGE. The wheels are staggered with 245/45Z/R17 for the front and the rears are 275/40Z/R17. When I bought the car it was a pepper gray shell on a rotisserrie that needed blasted and built from there. I immediately had the car baking soda blasted and sent it to a friend to have the metal work done. I had him replace the full drivers quarter and outer wheelhouse because it had been hit lightly and was fixed incorrectly years ago. I had him weld up the seams on the sail panel for a custom look. I also had him install the steel 1968 Shelby tail panel because I didn't like the way the fiberglass 67 panel installs. I also had him cut out a small amount of rust in the fender aprons and patch them. He also cut out the rust in the door corners and welded patches in. The passenger side quarter, wheelhouse, and rear frame rails are factory with zero rust. The previous owner replaced some of the drivers front rail, some lower cowl, and he patched the floors. The floors were not done the best but we have worked on them to make them look better and they are usable but if you want show perfect floors you will want to replace them. The car will come the a gallon of epoxy sealer, a gallon of mar-hyde, and a gallon of duraglass. Right now the car is torn apart on the rotisserie (which I will include) in epoxy sealer with a coat of mar-hyde high build primer to start blocking it. It is a solid shell that needs the eleanor kit installed and built from there or sell the eleanor kit and build a 68' Shelby clone or change the tail panel and build it back stock. The car is a true A code 1967 fastback with matching apron stamps, door tag, and a clear non-highway KS title in my name (car had no motor in it when purchased so KS makes you go non highway). This is a no reserve auction and I'm losing money selling at the starting bid but I need my garage more right now. I don't have to sell it and if you don't think my car is worth it price a dynacorn shell without a title. Call 785-220-4411 or email for info or if you would like to take a look. No calls after 10 pm please. This car is not a roller right now but we could probably make some dollies to transport it. The car will have to be picked up locally because there is an enclosed trailer worth of parts coming with it. You can transport the shell on a flatbed trailer using double or triple stacked tires on all the frame rails. We will help load it and if you live close by we may help in the delivery of it all. I'm selling this car to the U.S. and Canada only because of the fact that I can't load it all on a container to ship it overseas. The car is also for sale locally so the auction may end at anytime if there are no bids. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN 7 DAYS BY WIRE TRANSFER OR CASH IN PERSON. IF YOU CAN'T MEET THE TERMS DON'T BID. Check my feedback selling cars and car parts I describe my items honestly because I hate all the dishonest sellers on here. The car is stored at a friends house and the parts are stored at my parents house. They are within 10 miles of each other. The pictures that are dated 01/01/2007 were taken on 9/27/2010 the date was wrong on the camera. Thanks for looking and good luck.
