This is the best Concours Triumph TR3 A you'll ever find anywhere. It's fully restored. It has overdrive. It has a BMHT Build Certificate, and it's a prize winner. The photos should tell most of the story, but I'll tell you more. This car had a frame-off restoration that was begun in 2000, and finally finished in 2007. It was done in two phases. First, there was the rolling chassis restoration (frame, engine and transmission rebuild, and the rebuild of all hydraulics, cooling and electrical - including dashboard instrumentation). That work was done by a British car specialty firm in Fairfax, VA called Motorhead, Ltd. (800-527-3140). Call them for a reference on their work. The second phase - the really, really expensive part - was the coachwork, body and interior, done by a Fairfield, CT firm called English Motor Garage (203-366-1957). Call them for a reference on their work. There are other things that you should know. First, when it comes to the body, almost all the metal is New Old Stock (NOS) from England. Only the trunk lid and the bonnet (hood) are from 1960. All the other panels are NOS, still in their boxes from the old Standard-Triumph Company. That was expensive. But check out the depth of the finish. Secondly, I rebuilt the Master Cylinder this year, and replaced the highly corrosive Girling fluid with a silicon-based hydraulic fluid - and repainted the area in and under the Master Cylinder.
