FIRST YEAR TOYOTA 4x4 TRUCK!!! INCREDIBLE COLLECTORS OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THIS VERY RARE SECOND OWNER TOYOTA! Purchased new from Lance Motors in Ukiah, CA. Truck is very solid from dry Northern California climate where it has been located since new, From what I understand each dealer received 1 of these FULLY LOADED LIMITED EDITION pickup’s to demo the NEW TOYOTA 4x4. Truck has EVERY option available in 1979, Not a squeak or rattle, A/C blows ice cold, ORIGINAL CONDITION, UNCUT, UNRESTORED, UNMOLESTED, AND NEVER OFF ROAD!! My uncle purchased this pickup in 1980 from the original owner with only 7,000 miles. Partial paint in 1983 to match motorhome, truck was towed so actual miles are unknown. Problem areas are; a small dent in the hood which should be an easy paintless fix, surface rust on the bottom of the tailgate, one pinhole in the right front corner of the bed, all surface rust has been treated and stopped! Needs the seal around the windshield replaced, which I have and is included in the auction. Only modifications performed is a recent suspension rebuild with 3.5” lift springs & shocks, new tires and wheels with under 100mi, new header, converter, exhaust, and fuel gauge sending unit, This truck is an AMAZING SURVIVOR, and would take very little to restore back to SHOWROOM CONDITION! Restorer or Collectors dream! This is the FIRST YEAR that Toyota imported a truck into the United States. Due to the hard use, abuse, and modifications to these vehicles, the survivor rate is very low. This may be an EXTREMELY rare vehicle.
