Vehicle Detail
1994 Honda Civic Dx with GSR Motor and Transmission Up for sale is my 1994 Honda Civic Dx Coupe with a GSR swap. The body is in decent shape for its age, has a little over 172k on it and has about 3 year old paint. There is some minor rust around the rear quarters and rockers as seen in the pictures. The car has a B18C1 Engine and transmission with approximately 115k. It does have an Integra Type R intake manifold. Has new Plugs, NGK Wires, and Radiator. I believe it has a p28 Ecu chipped on crome with a P72 map. Has a cold air intake and a header which is pretty banged up on the bottom. It is also missing a stud or two that connects header to block. Still has stock exhaust with a loud muffler on the end that im not a fan of. The interior is in pretty good shape minus the common driver seat tear. Also has newer alpine head unit, with jack to plug into mp3 player. Has power steering and tilt. Has 2000 Honda Civic Si Wheels on Warrior tires. Two of the tires are like new. Now For the Bad: The transmission was working fine two weeks ago. Shifted through all the gears,(2nd gear has a grind going in to it), but reverse was hard to engage. I changed the transmission fluid and when I went to take it for a test drive 3rd and 4th gear are blocked, exactly how reverse had been prior. And now reverse feels like butter. Almost as if the piece of metal or bolt that was blocking reverse moved around and is now blocking 3rd and fourth. And this is the condition that the vehicle is currently in. It is probably something simple, don't have the time to fix it. The car is drivable you just have to rev 2nd a little high then hit 5th. Also it is throwing a code 16 for fuel injectors, and VTEC is currently not engaging. Could be a loose wire or mis-pinned wire. The clutch on this is car is strong, no slips at all. Ask me any questions you have before bidding. My reserve is pretty low. SEE VIDEO at bottom for a start-up. Feedback greater than 5 required unless contacted prior to bidding. More than welcome to come and check out, test drive the car before bidding. Thanks and good luck.
