I am listing this truck for my recently deceased brother firefighter's widow. I have gone thru this truck and will describe it to the best of my knowledge, but, if you have any questions or would like to see it in person prior to placing a bid please feel free to contact me to set up a time. Up for bids is a 2000 Ford F150 "4x4off road package" Lariat extended cab pickup. This truck has very low mileage and my co-worker (owner) was the second owner. This truck has always been maintained by our local Ford dealership. It starts and runs smoothly with no visible smoke from the tailpipe. There are no spots under the truck where it is usually parked and I have not seen any leaks. There are a few "weeping" or "damp" seals in all the usual places but nothing serious. It is equipped with the 5.4 ltr V8 and it is VERY strong. The transmission shifts thru all the gears smoothly. It had new front calipers, pads, rotors, brake hoses, and a battery replaced at 58,000 miles by our local dealer. Brakes feel strong and there is no vibration in the pedal and no "pulling" when the brakes are applied. Tires are about 75%. The 4x4 is controlled via dash mounted switch and it works as it should. The truck has power steering, power windows, power locks, remote keyless entry, ABS, exterior keypad, vent visors, power mirrors (with turn signal indicators), criuse control, tilt steering, power drivers seat, leather, A/C, AM FM single disc CD, rear slider, fold up arm rest with compartment, 4 doors (2 fullsize and two small flip out for the back seat), towing package, tailgate lock, and overhead console with compass. The interior is very clean and I think that it is safe to say it was a non-smoker vehicle. The carpets are very clean and the origional floor mats are in place. The drivers seat has a small tear and both front seats show some creasing / wear in the leather (see photos) which I am told is common for this model / year. The rear seat looks like new and the entire rear seat folds up. The windows in the rear doors flip outwards. The paint is very nice overall and could use a coat of wax. I am told that the truck has never been in an accident and by the looks of the paint it has not seen much time offroad either as there are not many scratches. There are a few spots of corrosion / rust in the following areas, small spot on front edge of hood, a few small spots on the bottom of the insde of the drivers door, small "spot" on bottom of the inside rear passenger door, and a couple of spots on the back of the bed just above the bumper, I took pictures of what I saw, the spot on the hood and doors seem relativley minor and as I stated earlier you are more than welcome to come and see the truck in person prior to placing a bid. The bed of the truck has a few scratches and does not appear to have done much in the way of "work". All of the lights work, as does the radio \ cd, windows, and wipers. Westin step tubes installed about two years ago. This vehicle is being sold in "AS IS" condition and the are "NO warranties or guaranties expressed or implied herein". Vehicle has a clear title and good NJ inspection.
