Up for auction from The Mustang Ranch in Golden, Colorado. This is one of 1,850 Q code Mach 1's that were built in 1969. I believe they produced about 5,000 plus R code Mach 1's that is why a Q code is more collectable. This car had made it's way over to England, Great Britten, Northern Ireland and was purchased by me, this summer from the Verschuren family car collection in Turnhout, Belgium. The car has cleared customs, EPA and I have a Colorado clear title of motor vehicle. I also have a small file of documentation to go with the car. The car apears to have ben restored about 10 years ago. It is unknown the mileage on the rebuild but what I was told that it was not driven much. It had alway's been stored in a climate control enviroment. And that is why the car is in acceptional condition. It has a non mumbers matching 428 4 speed 9 inch 350:1 trans lock 31 spline rearend which have all ben rebuilt and most recently had all of the fluids changed and engine tuned. The sheet metal is origional to the car except for the rear wheel well lips, they had been cut out and replaced. Engine bay sheet metal, frame rails, torque boxes, trunk drop offs and floor pans are origional to the car and apear to be intact and solid. There are no signs of colision, every thing opens and closes fine. All of the gaps have proper spacing. The body and paint are in very nice condition you can tell by the cut buff and polish job. There are only a couple of small chips other than that the paint is spactular. There are some areas that need attention such as the interior, it does look a little used and could be detailed. It's missing the origional steering wheel and has a couple of stars in the windshild. More than anything the car needs a good cleaning and detail. There is no warenty or guarenty on this Mach1 so please call and ask as manny questions as you like. This is not a concorse car but still could be shown.
