THE HISTORY The Mercedes CLK55 AMG Cabriolet has only 63,143 miles on it... that is not a typo... it has just 63k miles.... that's just under 8k miles driven per year.... it’s practically Brand New for a Mercedes!!! The VIN is WDBLK74G22T121023. It was built by Mercedes Benz at their Osnabrueck production facility in Germany in January of 2002 and imported into the USA in February of 2002. It was sold Brand New on a 39 month lease by Euro Motorcars in Bethesda Maryland on April 2nd of 2002 with just 30 miles on the odometer to the original and only owners who lived in Chevy Chase, an affluent area. After owning and enjoying this CLK55 AMG for just over three years, the lease term coming to and end, these original owners decided they loved this CLK55 so much that they purchased it outright from Mercedes Benz Financial to keep all for themselves. This took place on September 29th of 2005 and with just 22,692 miles on the odometer. This CLK55 was kept properly serviced at Euro Motorcars and CarFax indicates multiple routine maintenance's with the dates and mileages. We also have multiple receipts from the yearly emmissions and saftey inspections the vehicle had to undergo. Finally in August of 2010, after enjoying this CLK55 AMG for over eight and a half years, on a vacation to South Florida, these original owners decided to trade this CLK55 AMG in with just 63,105 miles on the odometer at CarMax in Fort Lauderdale Florida on a Mercedes SL55 Convertible that they had for sale. CarMax offered it to me and I purchased it to offer for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION The overall exterior condition of the vehicle is very very good, almost as if only a few years old. No exterior damage exists on the car itself except for a few minor rock chips on the front, as you would expect on a vehicle half, or even a third, this age and a couple very minor hairline scratches. The interior is beautiful... some very minor wear does exist... but like that of a 25k mile car. The rims have some curb rash and some minor corroision as typical on this generation wheelsets. The outside temp and clock displays in the dash cluster have some display issues as you can see in the photo of the dash below. I have one master key, the 6CD cartridge, the owners manuals with the original build sheet and the original window sticker, the navigation cd for the southeast, the toolkit, the first aid kit, and a set of BRAND NEW still in the plastic bag charcoal black carpet floormats. The tires on this Mercedes are all matching Continental ContiSportContact 3's. They are P225/45R17 91W's in the front with approx 70% tread life left and P245/40R17 91Y's in the rear with approx 70% tread life left. The soft top opens and closes perfectly. The engine and transmission function perfectly. The A/C blows cold and strong. This CLK55 AMG needs nothing except you as the new driver. This is a chance to have a Practically Brand New Mercedes CLK55 AMG for a hugely reduced price. I have run the Carfax on this Mercedes and it came back PERFECTLY Clean with no accident history. It also notes the Carfax Buyback Guarantee. I ran the AutoCheck on this CLK55 AMG and it came back PERFECT as well. It notated the AutoCheck Assured Buyback Protection. As standard practice... on any vehicle we purchase; we have a Post Sale Inspection done by an ASE Certified and NAAA Frame Inspection Certified inspector. This is an inspection that checks the major mechanicals of the vehicle as well as a full frame and structure inspection. This inspection, if a defect is found, allows us to give back the vehicle to who we bought it from; therefore rest assured that you are not bidding on and buying a piece of junk. The inspection was completed on September 6th of 2010 and no mechanical defects or frame damage was found. I have taken over 100 photos of this beautiful vehicle.
