Vehicle Detail
This is my 1995 Porsche 968 Cabriolet. It was purchased through a Hartford, Ct dealership, which I picked up in Charleston, WV in the spring of '95. The car has just turned 18,000 miles - it's a classic. Original 1995 Sticker price was $63,916.00 It has always been garaged and never driven in the winter while in New England. I relocated to Florida in '97, and then just recently moved to NC. Again I want to emphasize that it has always been garaged and routinely started and run. The car is in like new condition inside and out, with the exception of one small scrape about 1/4" on the drivers side rear, from a car door and when I first got the car my dog chewed the plastic ring on each headlight washer without touching or damageing the paint. The AC blows extremely cold and the Heat works great there are no mechanical or electrical problems. I just replaced the battery and the tires were recently replaced, The engine is hardly broke in and the oil as always been changed every year. This is a Smoke Free Car. Great fuel milage 30mpg Highway driving Options: Power Convertible top, 6 speed Manual Transmission, Rear Wheel Drive, 17"Alloy Wheels, Fog lamps, Air Conditioning, Bucket Seats, Cruise Control, Heated Mirrors, Leather Seats, Power Door Locks, Power Mirrors, 8 way Heated Power drive and passenger Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, Stereo/Tape, Antilock Brakes, Driver Air Bag, Passenger Air Bag, Headlight washers Engine liters 3.0, Cylinder configuration I-4, Description: One owner 18k miles... all original, beautiful condition with Blue leather and Blue power convertible top. A great opportunity to own a Porsche Classic that will only rise in value. There are no electrical problems with this vehicle. Vehicle is defect free. There is one minor ding on driver side of this vehicle. The vehicle engine runs very, very smooth. The inside of this vehicle is smoke-free. Like new interior. Let me introduce myself. I am a long time 968 enthusiast (having purchased my first one in 1996) and the advocate for the Porsche Club 968 register. I know much about these cars and your 968 is pretty special. Let me tell you how. As if it wasn’t enough that the car has super low mileage (18K), a 6 speed, and offered at a fair price it is also one unique 968. As you know, it is loaded with options and good ones, dual full power seats, dual heated seats, headlight washers, limited slip, body side molding, factory CD with hi-fi sound, and 17” wheels (I’m quite certain the radio in the car is not the original one from the factory. That would be the Porsche CD-2 which was made for them by Alpine but is clearly labeled Porsche). It is colored in the popular polar silver and topped with a dark blue cab top. But what really sets this 968 apart is the interior. It has the extremely rare special order Provence blue/midnight blue full leather interior as well as the supple leather option. It is the ONLY North American 968 cab produced with this interior (there was also 1 coupe). It is very cool. I would love to see the car get into the hands of another 968 enthusiast so I have put information on the three 968 web sites about the car. Good luck with the sale and let me know if you have any other questions. 2,008 968 cabs sold in North America 306 1995s cabs 134 in Polar silver cabs (92-95) 39 Polar silver cabs in 1995 1 (out of 2,008) with code NN Provence blue/Midnight blue full leather interior (your car) Jeff PCA 968 register advocate
