Up for bid is one 1972 Buick Centurion 2 Dr HDTP with 76,000 original miles. This is a very nice former Eastern Washington car and is unrestored. I am the second owner and have owned this buick for 15 yrs. Optional equipment: 455 -4BBL, Turbo 400 trans, power steering, power disk brakes, vinyl top, Air condioning, cruise control, speed warning, electric trunk release, tinted glass, tilt steering, mirror map light, remote outside mirror, factory rubber floor mats, door edge guards. Mechanical details: 455 -ci, turbo 400 trans, motor runs excellent, trans shifts perfect, I have taken this car on several cross country vacations and wouldn't hesitate to drive on any long distance trips. Body details: This car is very solid and rust free with the exception of one rust spot under the vinyl top below rear window. Paint is all original and decent for the most part. There are some thin spots on the hood. There are the usual nics and scratches throughout the body. There is a dent in the rear quarter panel on the drivers side just in front of rear bumper. All chrome and brite work is there and in above average shape. Trunk is in excellent shape with no sign of leakage or rust. Interior details: Interior is in excellent condition and could use a good detail. Dash pad is perfect with no cracks or blisters. Instrument cluster bezels, all chrome is in great shape. Dash wood grain is crisp and as new condition. Carpets are in excellent shape everything electrical works with the exception of clock and radio. Air condition still blows cold. Recent repairs: These are repairs and parts that have been replaced in the 15 yrs and 20,000 miles that I have owned the car. Michelin tires 10,000 miles, front brakes, changed trans fluid and filter, changed rearend fluid, new valve cover gaskets, complete tune up, radiator, thermosat, water pump, all new hoses, and battery. Issues: This car will need a new vinyl top, windsheild. The front grill will need some repair/ have pieces, rear taillight lens on drivers side needs replacing, the interior and body could use a good detail. I regret having to sell this car but other projects require my attention, so I am hoping someone will get this car that appriciates it as much as I do.
