1975 BMW r90/6. Blue. The Good. Runs well. Good tread left on tires. Have put several thousand miles on this bike and everything works well. New seat. Comes with low grab rail and backrest. Battery charges well. New fuel lines and filters.Uses very little oil. Numbers matching. I have used this bike since may to commute 40 miles several days a week, and I have never been stranded. Taken two trips to Illinois. Over the 800 miles there and 800 miles back I added about 5 cc of driveshaft fluid, and a couple ounces of engine oil. The valves have been kept at the proper clearences and there has been no signs whatsoever of valve recession over the 8K miles that I have put on it. Love the bike, but I have a chance to get a GS for very cheap, so I need the room. The Bad. This is a 35 year old bike, so everything will not be new. There is no seat lock. The previous owner had the tins repainted and while it looks nice, there is some light orange peal to the paint. The right muffler has a metal patch on it to cover a leak. The chrome on the right muffler looks like it was cleaned with scotch-brite and has a duller surface. No tripmeter in speedometer, but tach, speedo, and odometer work. this is a nice, reliable airhead. I have tried to represent everything faithfully, but if you have any other questions or need more pictures, message me. Had a question about the title.. I purchased this bike in Tennessee and have the title I got when I purchased in Ten. It turns out the bike had been registered in GA without a title sometime in its History, so I can't get a Georgia title due to that. it has been registered in GA with a bill of sale. I will provide a Bill of sale and give the buyer the Tenn title for the bike. Bike is clear and has not ever been salvage or registered as such. No liens or anything. In response to another question during the previous listing, the pinstripes are no longer on the bike. They had been added to this paint job after the last paint job. I removed them because they were lifting from the bike.
